A Certain Tokyo

Funny is. It happens when someone or something finds itself in an unexpected location, such as A Certain Tokyo. A place known for its seriousness, it still offers up momentary disconnects — so long as you are there to catch them.

Don’t look for a real Tokyo in these photographs. Taken at real places in the conventionally way, they should be seen only as sketches. Or doodles. Of a peculiar city I am privileged to see.
